Overall Appeal

     -Great game, great presentation, great graphics

     -But, seriously lacking offline options

 

 

Fun Factor

     -It is a fun, fun, creepy, and fun game

     -Great to play with friends, especially if they scream like a five year old (Ronin)  

     -But, could use some more options

 

 

Replay Value

     -Very high replay on Xbox Live

     -Pretty good replay with a few friends in co-op

     -Not that great single player especially after you've gone through it with some friends co-op.

    

 

Presentation/Graphics

     -The game doesn’t attempt to look realistic, it tries to look scary, which it does! it had Ronin jumping out of his seat every 5 minutes.

    

 

Online

     -This game was designed with online play in mind. You have a lot more options when you're online then you have local.           

 

Storyline

     -No in depth storyline, just survive and get to the next safe room. Each chapter seems to be it's own stand alone story with the ever prevelent OMG Stay Alive!     

                       

 

Character

     -4 Characters but there are no distinguishing features or abilities between any of them.

     -The game would be the same if they were faceless drones                               

 

Customizable

     -None at all which is kinda sad I would have liked to upgrade something, either my character to take more dmg or my guns to blow more stuff up.

    

 

Camera

     -I usually don’t enjoy 1st person, but it works here because of the intended creep factor, this game is purely horror survival

    

 

Controls

     -Not hard to learn but not set up practically, they don't feel as natural after switching from playing a lot of other shooter games.  

 

 

Game Mode

     -Offline options are limited to single story or co-op story

     -If you're into online play it makes up for some lost ground here

                       

    

Gameplay Options

     -Very linear structure you choose the scene and act you want to play each time you load the game but within those acts you're tied to a pretty structured environment

    

 

Progression of Difficulty

     -Each time you load the game you can choose your difficulty setting and the scene you want to play. Plus the chapters are set up in increasing difficulty.

    

 

Minor Details

     -Different sounds for different mobs allow you to prepare for impending attacks

     -Team mates yell when they are reloading or find ammo which is really useful in online play

      

 

Sound/Soundtrack

     -Sounds fit perfectly with the game and add a lot to the creep factor
